Employee Learning Week (ELW) is the time dedicated annually to recognize organizations that are committed to learning. The campaign is aimed at business leaders to help them "realize that the most important asset in a knowledge economy is talent and that a skilled workforce is the key to realizing results." (Tony Bingham, President, ASTD).

Participating organizations are designated as ASTD Champions of Learning and receive awards as part of a community and state wide PR campaign aimed at business, governmental and professional leaders.
