Southeast Georgia GIG/Savannah
The Southeast Georgia GIG/Savannah is an extension of the 1,000 statewide membership of the Greater Atlanta Chapter. Nestled on the beautiful coast of Southeast Georgia, we meet 12 times a year with the purpose of providing professional development opportunities and networking for workplace learning professionals (WLPs) in Southeast Georgia and Savannah. We gather to increase our knowledge and professional skills by sharing expertise and experience with others in the community. We welcome program ideas and encourage local WLPs as well as others to lead discussions and present their topic of expertise at our meetings.
We know the value of building relationships and its impact on creating strong communities. As part of our 2012 planned initiatives, we invite you to join us as a strategic partner. Please allow us the opportunity to position your company in front of our members who are interested in learning more about your vision, values and services. If you are new to the power of our Southeast GA GIG/Savannah, let me share some awesome information.
So What’s a GIG?
Geographic Interest Groups (GIGs) are designed to extend ASTD Atlanta programs and services to geographic areas outside of Atlanta. While its members have complete ASTD Atlanta member privileges, the GIGs provide meetings at convenient times and locations so individuals don’t have to miss valuable time away from work by traveling to Atlanta. GIGs allow one to meet local workplace learning and performance professionals and experience quality professional development programming close to home. For more information, email us or check Events Calendar for upcoming meetings.
